Graphing trigonometric functions of sine, cosine and tangent

Graphing sine and cosine functions:
We know that both sine and cosine are trigonometric functions. Both sine and cosine are periodic functions just like any other trigonometric function. The period of the basic sine and cosine function is 2 pi.

Graphing the sine function:
Just like any other function, for graphing a sine function also we need to first make a table of values and then use that to graph the sine function. The table for various values of x for one period of the function f(x) = sin (x) is as follows:

X (in degrees)
X (in radians)
F(x) = sin (x)

Now we plot the x values against the f(x) values on a set of co-ordinate axes as follows:

Graphing cosine function:

Just like what we did for the sine function, we make a table of values for the cosine function as well. The table would be as follows:

X (in degrees)
X (in radians)
F(x) = cos (x)

Again we plot the degree values on the x axis and the f(x) values on the y axis and graph one period of the cosine function as follows:

Graphing tangent functions:

For graphing a tangent function also we follow the same method that we did for the sine and cosine function. The only difference being that in a tangent function, the period is pi. So we need lesser values of x to graph one period. The table of values is as follows:

X (in degrees)
X (in radians)
F(x) = tan (x)

The graph would be as follows:
